It is with great regret that the UPP acknowledges the CTE status of one of it's founding members, Elgarve.
Elgarve, along with Alfonia and Sinn, founded the UPP, and it's principles were entrenched in his mind. Elgarve helped the UPP in its first election in November 2005 by running as the first ever UPP candidate, securing a 15-22 scoreline against a senior incumbent. His input towards the party in its early days will always be remembered.
