It is with the utmost pride and anticipation which the United Progressive Party steps up to the vastly increased responsibility that an election victory entails.
The UPP would like to take the time to formally thank Estayland, -and also Goldenloser and HockeyNutVille in the first ballot- for providing such rigorous competition, and of such high calibre. The political debates involved in the campaigning process were both enlightening, and revelatory of what must be expected from a delegate of 10000 Islands.
Thus, having secured a electoral majority (53%, and 19 of 36 votes finally cast) in the second ballot after much hard work on the part of all those involved in the campaign, The Party accepts the elevated gravity of such a position. We recognise that the work has only just begun, and are confident in the knowledge that we can reward every single voter for turning out, by offering clean, progressive politics in a truely democratic environment.
Attatched to every election campaign, the single all encompassing pledge: To Strive towards better representation, total equality, and economic progression from a social and individual perspective.
